What are the best Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 landing spots?
The Underworld
The Underworld is our favourite location in Chapter 5: Season 2. It’s a complex POI with different heightened buildings on the central part and green rivers, providing players with speed boosts for unpredicted manoeuvres. The area is perfect for chaotic gunfights across all the ranges.
The Underworld is also home to Hades, the god of death and overseer of the Underworld. Defeating him grants legendary rewards: the Aspect of Siphon medallion and the coveted Hades Harbinger SMG, considered the best weapon this season.
Mount Olympus
Mount Olympus is the huge POI that rivals The Underworld in complexity. This location can be found in the southeastern part of the map. It has seven God Chests filled with rare weapons and valuable equipment, making it an ideal spot for players to gear up before engaging in intense battles.
If you’re looking for a real challenge, you can take on Zeus himself at the summit of Mount Olympus. If you defeat the warrior-king of the gods, you’ll be granted an Aspect of Speed medallion and Zeus's Mythic Huntress DMR as a reward.
Grim Gate
Looking to experience the new content of Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 without diving headfirst into intense early-game fights? Grim Gate is your perfect landing spot! The POI lies at the centre of the map and offers a strategic advantage. After taking down enemies on the location, players can quickly rotate to The Underworld, Pleasant Piazza, or Restored Reels.
Grim Gate is also home to Cerberus, a fearsome boss guarding the area. Defeat him to get the Aspect of Agility medallion and Cerberus's Mythic Gatekeeper Shotgun, a devastating weapon in close-quarters combat.
Fencing Fields
In Season 2, Nisha was removed from Fencing Fields, which led to a significant decrease in the popularity of this POI. Despite this, Fencing Fields remains one of the best locations to drop into, especially for newbies. You can explore the beautiful vineyard and orchard, and find Flowberries, a consumable fruit that restores your shield and grants you a low-gravity boost.
Brawler’s Battleground
Brawler’s Battleground is the most remote and silent landing spot added in the new season. It's located directly below Mount Olympus, in the bottom-right corner of the map. Brawler’s Battleground is packed with chests and scattered loot.
The location is also the home to Ares, the fearsome god of war. Defeating him grants the Aspect of Combat medallion and Ares's Mythic Warforged Assault Rifle.
