Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 has just kicked off bringing massive changes to the island, including new POIs and NPCs to interact with, that includes new bosses with medallions to earn.
If you're out of the loop, medallions grant players access to unique abilities that will aid them in combat. While these special perks can come in handy there's a big caveat - players can spot you on the map as a circle will form around your location, which will become smaller and smaller the more medallions you collect.

What Do the New Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 Medallions Do?
In total, there are four new medallions players can get in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3.
The Machinist Medallion
Upon being defeated, The Machinist will drop her Medallion which regenerates your shield over time. If defeated at Redline Rig, use the medallion to open the garage holding her car. If she's in a convoy, seize her modded-up automobile by force.
In any case, you'll also get a Mythic weapon, The Machinist’s Combat Assault Rifle. These are the medallion's stats:
- Regenerates 5 Shield per second, to a max of 75 Shield
Ringmaster Scarr Medallion
Defeating the Ringmaster Scarr will net you plenty of rewards beyond her medallion so it won't be easy. After taking her down you'll gain access to her garage. If she's in a convoy you can get her fully kitted vehicle as well.
As for the medallion, Ringmaster Scarr's will give you infinite ammo and a weapon damage buff. You'll find her at the Nitrodrome.

Megalo Don Medallion
Defeating Megalo Don will give you infinite Nitro with Megalo Don's Medallion. You can also acquire the Mythic Megalo Don's Nitro Fists.
