In this guide, we'll list our favourite horror maps in Fortnite's Creative mode, where you can find interesting storylines and hair-raising encounters. It's up to you to bravely play them alone or bring some friends along, as there are many horrors waiting for you to encounter in each map.

Fortnite Creative horror map codes (February 2024)
Night Hunter - Sacrifice (4937-3733-1628)
Night Hunter - Sacrifice is an homage to Friday the 13th: The Game and Dead by Daylight. It provides a nail-biting co-op experience, and you'll need several players to fully enjoy this experience, but can have tons of fun killing other players as the Maniac or trying to run, hide, and call for help.
[Horror] The Forest (7395-3026-2615)
The Forest is a true test of skills and nerve. Use a flashlight to ward off the darkness, find tools to solve puzzles, and always watch your back. The map's creator, Choupala, has used Fortnite Creative 2.0 to its full potential with great graphics and exciting gameplay making the most of the engine.
The Space Inside (9836-7381-5978)
The Space Inside was created by Epic themselves, using Creative 2.0 to its full potential, but don't let the cutscenes and beautiful environments fool you. The Space Inside is full of creeping dread and liminal spaces that invoke the Backrooms, and an excellent choice for players that prefer to be unsettled rather than jumpscared.
Phantom Investigation Reimagined (9919-3137-0527)
Grab your friends and feel like the main characters of Phasmophobia with Phantom Investigation Reimagined. This map tasks players with hunting ghosts, and the house of horrors they hide inside will make it a night to remember.
Alone or with friends, players must identify the specific ghosts in the mansion by finding evidence throughout the mansion. You will have items on hand to help with this, but the ghosts may step in to scare you away - or worse!
Alan Wake: Flashback (3426-5561-3374)
If you're a fan of Remedy's games or just want to know about Alan Wake's backstory, this map is a great (and free!) experience. Created by Epic themselves, Alan Wake: Flashback recaps the story of Alan Wake for players looking to jump into Alan Wake 2. The narration is excellent and sure to have players on the edge of their seats.
Scary Doll (7595-1913-2803)
Scary Doll is another map on our list that was created using Creative 2.0 and the Unreal Engine. This map is considered one of the scariest in Fortnite, with its realistic graphics and Resident Evil-esque patrolling monsters.
The story is simple, but effective. You need to escape from a terrifying doll that gets more aggressive as time goes on, so bringing three friends is recommended to make sure there's something between you and the killer doll.
Haunted Escape (7962-7507-1539)
Haunted Escape provides plenty of variety for gamers looking to escape their nightmares. You'll be crawling through vents, haunted by ghosts, and end up in all kinds of churches, schools, and prisons in a desperate hunt for the finish line. If you're a fan of real-life escape rooms, Haunted Escape is a unique experience and can be enjoyed with squads of eight or less.
