Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 secret cave location
To find the entrance of the secret cave, you'll have to head to the east side of the map, to the coastline south of Grand Glacier and east of Hazy Hillside. Along the coast, at the location marked on the map above, you'll find a cave with three or four loot chests in it.
The secret cave in Fortnite can be very dark, although there's a ton of loot and even some secrets to be uncovered. Upon heading deeper, you'll find a passageway marked with a red torch with a loot chest at the end. If you break this chest and the rock behind it with your pickaxe, you'll uncover a new cave system.
In this section of the cave, you'll find some more loot as soon as you enter the opening, as well as a route that heads deeper into the caves, marked by a pool of water and more red torches. Head down here until you read a dead end, then strike the fake stone wall with your pickaxe to break it.
Doing this will reveal a hidden cove, where you'll find even more loot and a load of Coral Buddies, who were previously seen in some of the quests throughout Chapter 4. Now, they appear to have found somewhere to call home, at least before your intrusion. Make sure to check this final area for any final loot, before heading back out.
