The quests in GreedFall 2: The Dying World are similar to the first game, mixing the main story, side quests, and character-driven narratives. The A Dying Forest quest is a key part of the main storyline, and Clan Hunters is one of the various factions you encounter while completing it.
They are a group from the village that has set out into the forest to explore the strange disappearance of local wildlife, but they run into trouble. Now it’s your turn to jump in—here’s how to find the clan hunters.
How To Find The Clan Hunters in GreedFall 2: The Dying World
The A Dying Forest quest tasks you with investigating a mysterious illness plaguing a native village in Teer Fradee, as well as uncovering the cause of the local wildlife's rapid decline.
The Clan Hunters were initially tasked with tracking down the source of the problem and searching for clues in the forest. These skilled hunters excel at navigating the woods but have fallen into traps, so you need to track them down.
To begin your search for the Clan Hunters, talk to Denid in your village. He will inform you that the hunters ventured into the forest to look into the disappearing wildlife. This will guide you to the Ancient Forest, just south of the village, where their camp is based. Once there, you’ll need to use the tracking mode to locate their footprints.
The tracks will initially lead east for a short distance before turning north. Be mindful, as the tracks may not always show up in tracking mode after the first set. It might be helpful to turn it off and visually follow the footprints on the ground.
Following the tracks, you will enter a dangerous area filled with traps. These traps can inflict a bleed debuff that causes damage over time, so you must either sneak past them or use your Mechanics skill to disarm them.
Once you've successfully navigated through the trap-laden area, you’ll come across the Clan Hunters, Roarg, and Berag, being attacked by wolves. After defeating the first group of wolves, a second wave will appear, and you’ll need to continue the battle until all the wolves are defeated.
You will discover that they are caught in traps themselves. You will need to decide whether to disarm the traps on your own or seek help from the trappers located to the east. Either way, as long as they are freed, you have set the stage for the next part of the quest.
Here you have it! That’s how you can locate the Clan Hunters and rescue them. For more, head to our guides page for a comprehensive collection of useful resources for the games you enjoy.
