Grow Your Settlement
In Frostpunk 2, Heatstamps act as a currency. They are essential to obtain as they are used to perform nearly every function in the game. You’ll need Heatstamps to power the Idea Tree. Each idea requires almost 100 Heatstamps to initiate.
The main way to acquire Heatstamps is by growing your settlement. The more people you have working to improve your settlement, the more Heatstamps will flow in. It is important to carefully recognize the potential of the citizens you invite, as they can positively and negatively impact your settlement.
The survivors you’ll invite will need housing and food. Although this expense may seem a little useless at the time, it will generate significant income for you. Heatstamps will be available for the taking at the end of the week.
Ask For Donations
You can always use an alternate option if the one-week wait seems a little long. The game allows you to collect donations from the different factions. You can speak to all the Heads of various factions and ask for a Donation. If the Faction supports your cause, they’ll easily hand you Heatstamps in exchange for favors.
You’ll need to build strong relations with the different Factions in the game. This allows you to start Rally events, earning you some bonuses. You can contact the leaders of the Factions using the option available at the bottom of your HUD.
Heatstamps can also be used to bribe the Leaders of the Factions by Funding their Projects.
Investments
In Frostpunk 2, you can invest in different buildings or Research Projects. This allows you to earn a great passive income. You can also change and bend a few laws in your favor, allowing yourself to get a little extra Heatstamps.
You can establish Pleasure Clubs in the Housing Districts. These clubs generate a lot of Heatstamps. You’ll need to research Leisure Pleasure Club to build this building.
