As one of the most beautiful games ever, you'll likely want to make good use of Hellblade 2’s photo mode. Fortunately, learning how to open Hellblade 2 photo mode is extremely simple.
In our Hellblade 2 review, we described the game as an excellent blockbuster Xbox exclusive with some of the best visuals we've ever seen. Because of those visuals, we spent countless hours in the game’s photo mode.
Here's how you can open Hellblade 2's photo mode and take amazing shots.
How to Open Photo Mode in Hellblade 2
Since Hellblade 2 offers no tutorials for players, it's easy to forget how to open photo mode. However, you can always find the correct information in the pause menu.
When you press the start button to open the pause menu, you'll see a diagram of an Xbox controller that shows exactly what each button does. These controls not only explain the game’s combat system but also its photo mode.
To open photo mode at any time, simply press the Up button on the D-Pad. This will pause the frame and open the photo mode menu for specific tweaks.
To take a clean picture, you’ll need to hide the photo mode UI to get a clean frame. Press the Y button to do this, and then press the capture button to snap a great pic.
Photo Mode Controls
Hellblade 2’s photo mode may seem complex, but it's very easy to use. At any time, use the left stick to move the camera and the right stick to look around. By using the left and right triggers, you can move the camera up and down.
Some complications, such as manipulating lights, just take a few minutes to master. For example, moving the lights is mapped to the left stick when the light is selected. These controls follow the same pattern as normal camera movement but only work when the lights are actively selected.
Other than that, Hellblade 2’s photo mode is extraordinarily easy to use, and we're all taking brilliant pictures with it.
