Tarisland, a new fantasy MMO from Level Infinite (the company behind NBA Infinite and V Rising), will launch globally on June 21 for PC, Android, and iOS. But eager PS5 and Xbox players want to know: Will Tarisland come to consoles?
Described as an MMORPG of epic proportions, players will embark on a journey through a world that promises in-depth and compelling storytelling, balanced out by rich exploration of environments and dungeons, as well as a diverse array of classes to keep things interesting.
In this guide, we will explain what to expect from Tarisland and whether players can expect to jump into this fantasy adventure on consoles like the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and even the Nintendo Switch.
Is Tarisland Coming To Consoles?
Despite having the utmost potential to thrive on consoles, Tarisland will unfortunately not be available at launch for consoles like the PS5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X|S. What's more, it does not look likely that it will come to these consoles at a later date either.
This is unfortunate news, as a new fantasy MMORPG outside of the realm of PC and mobile would no doubt have been responded to favorably by the console community. Consoles are sorely lacking in the MMORPG department, with many feeling similar to one another.
The lack of ports for the console does offer some explanation for why Tarisland will not have controller support. While some PC players prefer a controller to move around in, most use a mouse and keyboard in the MMO genre.
While understandable, Tarisland will not be coming to any console, which means it will be difficult for gamers who prefer controller support for their MMORPGs to access it. Overall, this is disappointing news, but that doesn't mean It may never come to consoles at all in the future if the game does well enough.
