The Like a Dragon series truly has a little something for everyone. Fans of arcade games, serious crime dramas, street brawling combat, and even karaoke can all come together and enjoy the adventures of Kazuma Kiryu. Does Like a Dragon Gaiden have an English dub?
English dub will not be available on release, but yes. Like a Dragon Gaiden will eventually have an English dub.
A Twitter post by Kiryu's English voice actor, YongYea, confirmed that, despite the delay, English dub support is still coming. It will reportedly be added in a post-launch patch, though there is no news on how long this will take.
Many long-time Yakuza fans won't be too upset, as the games have historically only featured Japanese voice acting. English subtitles will still be provided for those wanting to read along, too. We'll have to wait and see if the next mainline Like a Dragon title, Infinite Wealth, will support an English dub at launch or if dub delays become the norm.
