How to migrate your account in Minecraft
Follow these steps to migrate your account from Mojang or Legacy to Microsoft in Minecraft!
- Head to the official Minecraft website.
- Login to your Minecraft (Mojang/Legacy) account.
- You will be prompted to start the migration process.
- Click on “LET’S START MOVING.”
- Verify the email you used when purchasing the game and click on GET CODE.
- You now need to log in to a Microsoft account.
- Make sure you enter the correct details and connect your accounts.
- [Optional] If you do not have a Microsoft Gamertag yet, you can set one.
- Click on MOVE COMPLETE.
- You will get a confirmation if the migration is successful.
After the migration is complete, you will be able to log in to Minecraft with your Microsoft account. You will also get a free cape for completing the migration process.
