March 19, 2024: It's not a secret that Palworld features a huge map with lots to discover. The terrain is difficult to navigate at times and the verticality, weather, and water can all be challenging. Flying is a solution that helps deal with all of these issues. So today we're going to rank all the best Flying Pals in Palworld.
There are lots of considerations that have to be taken to place the Pals into their respective slots here. The three most important ones we've considered are Pal Speed, Partner Skills, and how easily you can capture the Pal. So with that understood, let's get into our Best Palworld flying Pals tier list.

Palworld best Flying Pals tier list
S Tier
- Jetragon
At the S-tier we have no competition for the Legendary Pal, Jetragon. Jetragon is quite hard to get as it's one of the last entries in the Paldeck. However, it makes up for this by being the fastest flying Pal in Palworld while also having one of the best Pal gear available. While it's not easy to get, it makes up for it by being a league above all other Pals in terms of stats.
A Tier
- Frostallion
- Faleris
Next up we have Frostallion and Faleris. These Pals can hold their own in the A tier due to their powerful partner skills and excellent movement speed. While other Pals can reach similar but slightly lower flying speeds, these ones do it with stats and partner skills that push them above the other flying pals. While Frostallion is faster, Faleris is easier to get and is the best non-legendary flying Pal you can get in Palworld.
A- Tier
- Suzaku
- Ragnahawk
- Shadowbeak
These are all great flying Pals to have and will outclass the ones in lower tiers through their stats and flying speeds. The only reason they're placed in A- and not A tier is because the ones in A tier are generally found at higher levels and possess better Partner Skills. Both of these can serve you well in your transition from midgame to late-game. Suzaku is placed here as it's more accessible than Shadowbeak and Ragnahawk while giving a similar performance.
B Tier
- Beakon
- Quivern
Next up we have Beakon and Quivern. Beakon is harder to catch and boasts the highest stats. What places Quivern in this tier is the fact that it has a regular ground run that is faster than most of the other flying Pals below.
C Tier
- Vanwyrm
- Helzephyr
- Elphidran
The C tier is just a list of Pals that are better than Nitewing but you should really look to upgrade from these to a higher-tier flying Pal as soon as you can.
D Tier
- Nitewing
Lastly, we have the objectively worst flying Pal in the game, Nitewing. Nitewing is slow in both walks and sprints, whether flying or running. Many people might have a soft spot for their first flying Pal, but you should really move on from Nitewing as soon as possible.
