Palworld is known by many by the not wholly inaccurate nickname 'Pokemon with Guns'. Your Pals can get their own weapons and by unlocking their respective Pal Gear you can completely change how you use the Pal. Today we'll look at the best Palworld Pal Gear to prioritise getting early.
While there are lots of Pal Gear that give you benefits that should not be missed, we'll be looking at some Pal Gear that provides an increase to either damage or quality-of-life that stands out from the rest. So without further ado, let's get into our list of the best Pal Gear in Palworld.

Best Palworld Pal Gear
Foxspark Harness
The very first Pal Gear you unlock in Palworld is the Foxspark Harness, and despite its low level, it can be an absolute game changer during the early areas. Foxspar Harness turns your Foxspark into a flamethrower with some incredibly potent Fire-type DPS. Group up with some friends and you'll be able to burn through boss HP and tough enemies within seconds.
Daedream/Dazzi Necklace
Another incredibly potent and fairly funny pair of Pal Gear is the Daedream Necklace and the Dazzi Necklace. Dazzi isn't available till you reach higher levels but Daedream's Necklace is available almost immediately if you catch one at night. The Necklace allows both of them to fight alongside you as long as they're in your party, and yes, it stacks. This means you can have a team of five Daedreams or five Dazzis fighting for you at once.
Direhowl's Saddled Harness
One of the earliest available rideable ground mounts, Direhowl is no slouch. You'd imagine that in terms of speed, legendary Pals would eventually leave Direhowl in the dust. However, Direhowl remains one of the best rideable ground mounts in Palworld well into the late-game. A must-have Pal Gear that will improve your traversal a ton.
Eikthyrdeer Saddle
Eikthyrdeer will be a bad memory for many beginner Pal trainers who have been run down by this surprisingly powerful Pal. Once you get your own Eikthrydeer, you can ride it. While it's nowhere near as fast as Direhowl during normal sprints, it has a unique charge skill that lets it speed boost across large distances much faster. Furthermore, it can trample and damage smaller Pals which makes capturing them en masse a lot easier.
Flying Mounts
Palworld has no shortage of Flying mounts and after your initial capture of Nitewing, you'll have your pick from whichever one you want as you progress through the game. Flying is by far the easiest method of getting around the map and collecting Lifmunk Effigies to increase your Capture Chance. Even Grappling Guns and Gliders don't give it much competition. Mossanda's Grenade Launcher
Not available until midgame, this Grenade Launcher is an incredibly powerful tool for dishing out damage in a large AoE. Not only is it comical and fun to use, but the damage it deals is no joke. Mossanda and its Pal Variant, Mossanda Lux both have access to the dual Grenade Launcher skill once you unlock their Pal Gear.
Grizzbolt's Minigun
The iconic Pal used in much of the game's promotional art, Grizzbolt gets access to a Minigun once you unlock its Pal Gear. This minigun takes a little bit to start up but has some of the most satisfying single-target shred in the game. Hop on your Grizzbolt and become the true tower boss that everyone should fear.
Jetragon's Missile Launcher
One of the final Legendary Pals that you will encounter in your adventure, the incredibly mobile Jetragon gets its own Missile Launcher. Needless to say, the damage on the Missile Launcher is ridiculous and paired with Jetragon's speed, which is the best in the game, it becomes a true force to be reckoned with as you bombard your enemies while flying circles around them.
