It's not a secret that capturing Pals, or even defeating them for that matter, nets you a bit of XP. However, many players fail to utilize the game's bonus system for capturing 10 Pals of a species which gives you that exact big boost of EXP you're looking for.

Completing Palbox missions
Completing Palbox missions is also your ticket to effortlessly gaining XP in Palworld. Not only do they guide you on what to do next with your base and Pals, but the XP rewards for clearing them are also pretty substantial.
The more missions you get through, the higher the reward for clearing each one gets. And it doesn't hurt that your base improves all the while. It's really a win all-around.
