As you level up in Palworld, you will require increasingly rare resources to build your structures and craft their necessary materials. After unlocking guns, ammunition will become a necessity, so you're going to have to look for an important resource called Sulfur.
Sulfur can be hard to find in the early game since you're not told its exact location on the map. Once you unlock ammunition you're going to realise you need a lot of Sulfur if you want to get any use out of your weapons. How to get Sulfur in Palworld
You can find Sulfur in the form of ores, so you're going to have to break down in order to get the material itself. Sulfur ore is distinct from regular ore due to its yellowish look. Each deposit will bag you around 25 Sulfur. You can mine the ore normally using a pickaxe or have a Pal do it for you.
You can find these ores scattered across a number of locations across the map, however, there's one place you're sure to find it more often than any other: the Desert Biomes. Scouring these is far and away the most reliable way to acquire and farm Sulfur.
If you feel like you have really high Sulfur needs you can always build a dedicated base for farming Sulfur in a desert. However, do note that the desert region is very hot and if you don't have at least tier 2 heat-resistant gear or an Ice Pal to accompany you, the gradual loss of HP from the heat might be your end.
What can you do with Sulfur in Palworld
Sulfur becomes one of the most necessary crafting materials in your Palworld journey once you start unlocking guns. It is key in crafting Gunpowder which lets you craft various ammunitions, so you’re going to need a lot of it in order to maximise your combat power and offensive output against stronger Pals.
