How To Get and Use The Chainsaw
The Chainsaw is a powerful tool designed to clear flora within a designated area using Solid Biofuel. It allows pioneers to cut down trees, shrubs, and even small rocks that can't be harvested by hand, making it essential for efficiently clearing landscapes.
You'll first need to build the Equipment Workshop to get the Chainsaw. This is where you can craft various items, including tools, ammunition, and consumables.
Next, you'll need 6 Iron Plates and 4 Iron Rods to build the workshop. Once it's done, your workshop will be ready to go, and you'll be one step closer to making the Chainsaw.
The Chainsaw is unlocked through the Obstacle Clearing Milestone in Tier 2. To complete this milestone, you'll need to craft 500 Screws, 100 Cables, and 100 Concrete.
When you have the required materials, interact with the HUB terminal and place them in their respective slots. Then press the large red button that appears in front of you. This will activate the Obstacle Clearing Milestone, unlocking Solid Biofuel, the Chainsaw, and three additional inventory slots.
You can now find the Chainsaw in the tools tab of the Equipment Workshop. To craft it, you'll need 5 Reinforced Iron Plates, 25 Iron Rods, 160 Screws, and 15 Cables.
Once you've completed all these steps, you can use your Chainsaw. It's pretty simple to use: just power it up with Solid Biofuel, and you'll be ready to chop down trees and other vegetation around you.
