How to Customize Sea of Thieves Ships
To customize your ship in Sea of Thieves, you’ll need to go to the Shipwright and interact with the Customization Chest placed beside the NPC. Once you do that, you’ll be able to change the appearance of your vessel’s components like its hull and its sails.
You can give your ship even more of a personal touch by decorating its interior with trinkets. To do this, you’ll need to be the captain and interact with the Customization Chest again or explore the inside of your ship. Spots that can be decorated will give you a prompt to place trinkets.
You can purchase ship components and trinkets from the Emporium, Trading Company vendors, and the shipwright. Apart from the trinkets that are purchasable from NPCs, you can also decorate the inside of your ship with trophies obtained from certain achievements. So, you'll come across new customization items quite regularly, though you can specifically hunt down ones you like if the are an achievement reward. There’s no limit to how many trinkets you can have, but buying these decorative items could end up costing you a lot of Gold.
