In Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2, players can explore various strategies for completing Missions. You can choose to go in guns blazing or take out enemies stealthily. One of the six classes in the game is the Sniper Class, which allows you to execute this approach with precision.

Building a good Sniper Class requires knowledge of every piece of equipment in the game. The Sniper Class is primarily used to identify and take targets out from a distance. You can practice your snipping skills in the Class Trials available in the Armoring Hall.

Understanding this Class may seem a little frustrating. Luckily, this guide discusses everything you’ll need to know to get started.

Here is everything you need to know about the Sniper Class in Space Marine 2:

Weapons

For the Sniper Class, you’ll have three different types of weapons. This includes your Primary, Secondary, and Melee weapons. You can select your Primary Weapon from the following list:

  • Bolt Carbine
  • Stalker Bolt Rifle
  • Bolt Sniper Rifle
  • Laser Fusil

The Laser Fusil is by far the best weapon on this list. It has exceptional damage-dealing abilities, along with a solid range. You’ll have the Bolt Pistol as your Secondary and the Combat Knife as your Melee. Both of these weapons can get you out of tight situations.

The Bolt Pistol can significantly damage incoming enemies, especially in close-combat situations. The Combat Knife can help you deal a lot of Melee Damage to enemies. Selecting the right perks helps you get the most out of these weapons.

Class Trials

There are a total of 3 Class trials for the Sniper Class. Completing these trials earns you Armory Data and Requisition, both essential resources for your in-game progress. These trials allow you to gather these resources early on. Here are the three Class Trials you need to complete:

  • Camo Cloak Trial: Revive 2 of your team members and kill a swarm of Tyranids in 80 seconds or less.
  • Shooting Range Trial: Kill two groups of enemies standing on the Platforms using either weapon (Sniper or Pistol).
  • Cut the Synapse Trial: Using Headshots only, eliminate a Trio of Tyranid enemies.

How to Play

The Sniper Class is a Long-range build that allows you to take out enemies discreetly. There are two ways you can use the Sniper Class efficiently:

  • Headshots Only: The Sniper has a high DPS (Damage-per-second), meaning you can easily kill enemies from a distance. Land as many headshots as possible to clear out large groups of enemies.
  • Stalker: The Sniper Class uses a special ability called Camo Cloak. You can silently take out enemies using your melee weapon or the Bolt Carbine and disappear from enemy view.
