Lo’ behold, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2’s first major money exploit has been uncovered, and it’s the most useful glitch ever. If you ever need coupons for weapon repairs or upgrades, a very ethical and safe bug can be exploited when you need that extra cash.
Don’t worry; hardcore S.T.A.L.K.E.R. veterans will let this slide by, as the game is full of junk that can sometimes ruin the experience. So it’s more of a quid pro quo, per se. When the game gives you lemons, well… make a thousand coupons.
Here’s how to get infinite money/coupons in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2:
Step 1: You Need To Have A Mouse
This glitch can only be replicated using a mouse, so if you have an Xbox Series X or S, you’ll have to connect one. The mouse is essential, as the glitch involves using the in-game cursor. PC players will find no problem with this.
Step 2: Visit Your Nearest Merchant
Visit any merchant you can find across the irradiated world of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. It doesn’t matter if it’s from the edge of the map or just near your first town; as long as you have a merchant that can ‘Trade’ with you then you can easily fix the glitch.

Step 3: Find Any Item Worth Selling
Once in the Trading Menu, choose your desired item to sell. Note that it should be a stackable item like Ammo or Medicines. Once you’ve decided, drag and drop the item to the SELLING tab using your mouse. You can only pick one item to use this exploit with, so anything works.
Step 4: THE EXPLOIT
Once you’ve dragged the item to the SELLING tab, use your mouse again to drag it back outside the grid-based SELLING tab. Do it fast, like flicking an item from an inventory. You know you’re successful when the average price of the item increases.
The exploit happens when you put an item into the SELLING tab and then drag it back. The game registers what you sold as another item, giving it a different price. No one knows how this works, but STALKERs are glad to find this before it gets patched in the coming update.
Step 5: PROFIT!
There’s no limit to this one, so you can keep doing it repeatedly until you get bored. This is important to do early in the game, as the enemies and the game’s weird AI can sometimes be frustrating. This helps with upgrading and repairing your armor and weapons. Once again, don’t be ashamed to use this exploit. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. fans know what’s up, and they’ll gladly welcome you back into the Zone if you do this. Call it… ethical cheating.
