Players are close to getting their hands on the massive upcoming action role-playing game, Starfield. With its launch date nearing, we've prepared a Starfield release time countdown to help you keep track of when you can access it.
Developed by Bethesda Game Studios, Starfield is set in the Settled Systems, an extension of our Solar system. It was previously confirmed by Bethesda that people who pre-ordered Starfield would be able to access the game starting on September 1, 2023. This included early access provided by the Xbox Game Pass.

Can you pre-load Starfield?
In terms of pre-loading Starfield, Microsoft and Bethesda confirmed that Starfield will be available for preload on Xbox Series X/S starting August 17. It has an install size of 126.1 GB.
For PC players of Starfield, the game could only be preloaded through the Xbox website or on Steam from August 30. The Xbox listing of Starfield has a 140 GB download while for Steam, it indicates a 125 GB download.
