How to detect five opponents in The Finals
Although The Finals contains all kinds of equipment capable of detecting nearby opponents during a match, there's only one piece of equipment that actually contributes towards this particular mission.
If you plan on completing the Search and Detect mission as fast as possible, use the Sonar Grenade to detect five opponents in The Finals. Sonar Grenades are only available to the Medium build so if you're a fan of Light or Heavy, you'll have to make the switch to complete the challenge.
Sonar Grenades detonate as soon as they touch the ground, emitting three waves of sonar pulses. Those caught within the proximity of the grenade, the opponents will appear as red outlines.
The Finals Search and Detect mission reward
By completing the Search and Detect mission and detecting the five opponents during a match in The Finals, you'll get your hands on 500 XP which is particularly useful if you're looking to climb the ranks as fast as possible.
For now, the only way to detect five opponents is using the Sonar Grenade but there's every chance Embark Studios provides an update so you can use other pieces of equipment to complete the mission with ease.
