How To Find a Lynel in the Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
To acquire the powerful Lynel Echo, you must first track down the Lynel lurking in the Eternal Forest, located northwest of Hyrule Castle.
Be sure to unlock the Eternal Forest before you begin. This area becomes accessible during The Prime Energy and Null questline. If you haven’t already, you may also want to speak to the priest at the Northern Sanctuary, who will mention the existence of a dangerous creature within the Eternal Forest.
This will set you on the right path. Once inside the Eternal Forest, your goal is to find and follow the hoofprints left by the Lynel. These tracks are spread throughout the forest, often found in muddy areas.
Starting from the warp point, head towards the northeast section of the forest, where the first set of prints can be located. Carefully follow these tracks as they guide you through the forest in a circular pattern, eventually leading to a large clearing.
Once in a large clearing, approach cautiously—this is where the Lynel resides. The Lynel is incredibly strong and capable of dealing massive damage, so it’s essential to have strong Echoes at your disposal. Sword Moblin Lv.3 is highly recommended, as it can absorb multiple hits and deal major damage in return.
Summon this Echo to block the Lynel’s path and chip away at its health. Keep a distance from the Lynel, as its attacks can easily drain several hearts at once. If you find the Lynel moving around too much, lure it down the path leading away from the clearing.
This will make the Lynel easier to track and hit. Be prepared to resummon your Echoes multiple times during the fight, as the Lynel will likely take them out quickly.
Keep your distance to avoid direct hits, and let your Echoes deal most of the damage. Patience is key here, as rushing in will likely result in taking heavy damage. After a grueling battle, you will finally defeat the Lynel and be rewarded with its Echo.
The Lynel Echo comes with a hefty summoning cost of six Tri energy points, though if you have upgraded Tri to its maximum level, the cost will be reduced to five.
Despite the expense, the Lynel Echo is one of the most powerful echoes in the game, and with this echo on your side, you’ll find that even the toughest enemies fall quickly to its might.
