Throne and Liberty has multiple currencies for different purposes, each for specific merchants or items. One such currency is Ornate Coins, a special in-game currency used to purchase unique items and upgrades from select merchants or shops.

So, how do you obtain ornate coins, which are not as easily earned as other currencies? This article will explore various methods to get Ornate Coins in Throne and Liberty.

How to Get Ornate Coins in Throne and Liberty

You have several options to get Ornate Coins in Throne and Liberty, but the Collections Codex is the main one.

Collect purple glowing notes throughout the game world to fill the Codex, earning three Ornate Coins for each note. Be sure to search camps, buildings, ruins, and areas with NPCs, as these locations often hide notes that are not marked on your map.

You can track your progress by opening the Codex in the game’s menu and heading to the Collection tab. This section will show how many notes are left in each area, helping you identify where to search next. Collecting them during quests or side activities is ideal to avoid backtracking later.

In addition to the Codex, you can earn Ornate Coins through in-game events. One example is Twitch Drops, which offers coins for watching streams during specific periods (from September 26 to October 15, 2024). Watching Throne and Liberty streams for up to 12 hours can net you 500 coins.

Discord integration event (available until October 16, 2024) also rewards PC players with 100 coins for playing while having Discord open for 15 minutes.

The game’s developers sometimes provide compensation gifts during server downtime or technical issues. Check for free giveaways during these periods, as they might include Ornate Coins.

Once you've gathered coins, you can visit the Ornate Coins shop to purchase useful items like Growthstones (for upgrading gear) and Skill Growth Books (for enhancing skills). You can even acquire Amitoi companions to assist you in gameplay.

The coins can also be used to purchase Morphs, which enhance character traits. However, Ornate Coins are limited, so be mindful of how you use them. Some items in the shop refresh weekly or monthly, but others can only be purchased once.

Ornate Coins and the items you purchase are also character-bound, meaning if you create a new character, you’ll need to gather coins and fill out the Codex again from scratch.

And there you have it! That’s how you get Ornate Coins in Throne and Liberty, enhancing your gameplay experience and allowing you to acquire unique items.
