See the table above for our Waven tier list. We've ranked all the heroes currently in the game, based on their proficiency in combat and ease of use. This is based on the initial pre-release version of Waven, so the rankings are likely to change once a few patches land and the meta changes.
What is the best hero in Waven?
As per our tier list, the best hero currently in Waven is Iop. This is the main melee class, based around brawling with handheld weapons and dealing out vast swathes of damage. As you make your way through the early PvE stages and slowly creep into the PvP arena, you'll want to deal as much damage as you can. That's why Iop is so handy.

Alongside that, you can't overlook Xelor as one of the best heroes in our Waven tier list. Xelor can manipulate time, either speeding up or slowing down the time your opponent has to make their move. Given Waven is a turn-based game, rushing your opponent could lead to forcing their hand, giving you the tactical advantage.
How do I get more Waven heroes?
Since Waven isn't a gacha game, the likelihood is that the only way to get more Waven heroes is to select a different one from your loadout menu once booting into the game.
Given Waven is very new, it's still slightly unclear how you switch between heroes, whether you can do it on the fly, and if you need to grind gameplay to unlock more characters. As the game evolves, we're bound to learn more.
