Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 will end on August 16. Epic Games confirmed the end date of the season with a new blog post on May 24. This means Chapter 5 Season 3 will last over three months.
Most Fortnite seasons tend to last anywhere from 75 to upwards of 100 days. Epic is very flexible compared to other developers and their live-service schedules in this regard.
For instance, while Chapter 5 Season 1 lasted 96 days, Chapter 5 Season 2 will only last 77. Don't worry, in cases when the seasons are shorter, Epic usually has XP boosts as compensation, which is what happened in the final days of Chapter 5 Season 2.
