There are 300 hidden bots in Astro Bot, 173 of which are cameo appearances. Most of these characters debuted in iconic PlayStation games throughout the console’s rich history. In most cases, the game features franchises that are limited to a single level.
Resident Evil characters, on the other hand, are spread across different levels, with some hidden ones included. Our guide provides the names of all Resident Evil cameo characters, along with details about the stages or areas where they appear.
Leon Kennedy (Rookie Cop)
A set of levels tied to the Lost Triangle Void needs to be completed to find both Leon and Claire. This stage is a secret level in Astro Bot. This level has no collectibles, so you can complete it after finishing the story without missing anything. It also unlocks four additional secret Triangle levels. Complete the short level in the void, and all four hidden levels in the Nebula will be unlocked on the map.
Crash into an asteroid drifting in the top-left region of the Tentacle System nebula to trigger the appearance of floating flowers. Charge into them to create a circle of stardust. Pass through the center to find a satellite bot, then ram into it to reveal the Lost Triangle Void. After clearing this level, further stages will be unlocked, including those with Leon and Claire.
The level to reach Leon is Cut ‘N Grind. This opens with Leon in sight, but as soon as you try to reach him, he is quickly snatched up and flown off. This level challenges you to navigate through a series of buzzsaw-infested platforms before jumping onto sliding rails and dodging mines. Completing it will allow you to save Leon.
Claire Redfield (Motorcycle Enthusiast)
As for Claire, she can be located in the Pumpkin Peril level. Claire is visible at the start of the level, just like in previous stages, before being whisked away to the end. That means there will be another platforming challenge to be overcome, but for the most part, they are stable. The tricky part is avoiding enemy fire while jumping and steering across some elongated, rotating platforms. If you make it through, you should be able to get Claire.
Chris Redfield (Alpha Male)
Chris and Jill can both be found in the Spooky Time level, which is located in the Camo Cosmos nebula. These characters are relatively simple to discover in Astro Bot, given that their level is central to the main storyline. Upon passing the gate early on, expect to find a bridge where ghosts are furiously throwing knives at high speed.
Using Time Stop to slow time is necessary to move past this. It’s then that you should come across enemies in the tombstones, which you’ll need to defeat. Once done, make your way left to a candle-lit wooden pier. Douse the candles by blowing into the DualSense, then move across to the platform where Chris awaits.
Jill Valentine (Alpha Female)
Continue through the level until you reach a section where a brick wall periodically descends. In this area, there is a void with hidden platforms that need a lightbulb to become visible. A glance slightly to the right will reveal a lone platform shrouded in tombstones. Lift a light out of the ground and continue along the platforms.
After the path bends right, turn right again. A path to the tombstone platform will reveal itself, along with a portal. Jump into it and proceed to navigate a chain of platforms set in a dimly lit area. Focus on syncing Time Stop with the lightning to see the platforms and slow them down. Jill becomes unlocked after crossing those two gaps.
