Can you have multiple saves in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom?
Now that we have our hands on the game, we can confirm that you can’t have multiple saves in The Legends of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. This game only gives you one save slot that you can use whenever you want.
However, the game has more than one save slot, but most of them are used for auto-saves. So, there is only a single manual slot where you can save your progress.
Why do people want to have multiple save slots in Tears of the Kingdom?
There is no doubt that the newest Zelda games are a real breakthrough in terms of how huge and varied they are. Their replayability is really impressive and fans often want to start multiple playthroughs. However, having only one manual save slot means that you’ll have to erase all of your progress every time you want to start from the beginning.
Unfortunately, it seems that The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will have the same issue as Breath of the Wild. If it's a feature that's added in a future update, we'll let you know.
