Marvel's Blade release date
Currently, there isn't a release date or window for Marvel's Blade. We reckon there's a good chance it will come out sometime in 2024, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
Also, confirmation of which platforms Marvel's Blade will be coming to hasn't been released. As developer Arkane Lyon is now owned by Microsoft Games, there's a possibility that the game will be released as an exclusive to PC and Xbox Series X|S, although there is still a chance the game may appear on PS5.
Marvel's Blade trailer
In the reveal trailer for Marvel's Blade, showcased at The Game Awards 2023, we get a brief look at the streets of Paris where the game is set. The majority of the trailer is set in a barbershop filled with holy symbols, revealing Eric Brooks, the Daywalker vampire hunter.
Perhaps the most notable thing in the reveal trailer for Marvel's Blade is the game's pop-art-esque style. The textured graphics on display give Marvel's blade a very distinctive and unique look, leaning into its comic book routes. Such a defined artistic direction has worked well with previous Marvel productions, such as the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse movies.

Everything we know about Marvel's Blade
At the moment, most of what we know about Marvel's Blade is purely speculation. We do know that the game will be a mature, single-player, third-person title, similar to Marvel's Spider-Man 2, which was of course a PlayStation exclusive. Might Marvel's Blade be Xbox and Microsoft's answer to the majorly successful Spider-Man games? Only time will tell.
Marvel's Blade's developer, Arkane Lyon, is a subsidiary of Bethesda responsible for the production of the iconic stealth games Dishonored and DEATHLOOP. Given the setting of Marvel's Blade, there's a strong chance we'll see similar stealth gameplay in the game, although the game's third-person nature is a move away from familiar territory for the studio.
