Disintegration was announced back in July 2019 by Private Division and V1 Interactive; from the co-creator of the legendary Halo series, fans are gearing up for this big hit.
Breaking the mould of video game genres, this one is promising to be one of the most unique games we will see this year.
Let's take a look at everything we know about the latest sci-fi shooter hit!
Be sure to watch our wide variety of PS5 news here!
What Is It?
Disintegration is gearing up to be something you have never played before; it appears to be a slow-paced fps with some rts components as well.
Although it is from one of the co-creators of Halo and it does look to bolster some of that futuristic flare; it does not appear to be a full-fledged fps.
Along with the multiplayer aspect, we know that there will be some sort of story mode as well. It is one of the more peculiar games releasing this year and we cannot wait to try it out!
Release Date and Platforms
V1 Interactive claimed that they are hoping to release Disintegration sometime in Q1 2020 or at the latest Q2 2020.
So right before Summer is when we should expect this game to be released!
V1 have also confirmed it will be coming to the three major platforms, PC, Xbox One and PS4
Beta: JUMP IN NOW!
As of writing, Disintegration has a full-on beta happening right now! Over the last two days they have been releasing the beta in segments; in periods of two days or so.
So, there will be another beta run fro January 31-February 1, and anyone can sign up to play! All you need to do is head over to their website, and fill out a form that will automatically sign you up for their newsletter and give you access!
Campaign
Although we do not know much about the inner workings of the story mode; IGN got their hands on it a while ago and have shared it with us. From what we can tell, it appears to use the same maps as multiplayer but with limited access to parts of each map.
Grav Cycles
One of the core components of Disintegration is Grav Cycles; which are really just flying tanks. These tanks move at a much slower pace than you would expect, so that is where the slower-paced fps vibes are coming from.
Crew
Each time you load into a match of Disintegration you will be apart of a unique crew. Sorta like Apex Legends, there will be different soldiers each with their own different abilities. As well, there are different Grav Cycles depending on the crew member!
