Activision, in conjunction with Major League Gaming, have announced that the 2015 Call of Duty World Championship will be open to public spectators for the very first time in the events three year tenure.
Previously, fans of the iconic $1 million tournament were forced to watch the action unfold live through online streaming services such as MLG.tv and Xbox Live. However, this year, at 10:00am PST (18:00 GMT) on February 17th, a limited number of tickets will be available for purchase from the official MLG website.
There will be two individual packages to choose from, which include three-day access to the event, in-game content, and exclusive gear.
The Gold Package will retail for $50, and will include general admission to the event for all three days, along with exclusive event merchandise, the Call of Duty Championship premium personalisation pack for Advanced Warfare, and the Advanced Warfare: Ascendance DLC, which is due for release later this year.
The Platinum package will cost $100, and includes everything available in the Gold Package, along with VIP seating and an exclusive hoodies from the event.
The Call of Duty Championships will take place in Los Angeles, California from the 27th to the 29th of March. Due to Advanced Warfare’s PEGI rating,attendants must be over the age of 18.
