Thomas "TJHaLy" Haly is an SMG support player for OpTic Gaming Los Angeles. The 20-year-old American will feature as part of one of the Los Angeles franchises in the Call of Duty League (CDL) 2020 Season.

TJHaLy is best known for his successful WWII season with Rise Nation and most recently OpTic Gaming.

Despite being so young, TJHaLy has been around the Call of Duty scene for a long time and has won five events with three different teams. TJHaLy has earned almost $250,000 in prize money.

Here's TJHaLy's player profile for the CDL 2020 season.

TJHaLy's History

Ghosts

TJHaLy first made his way into the scene from GameBattles, achieving plenty of online success with ZooMaa and VeXed; he was widely renowned for his S&D ability.

TJHaLy made his LAN debut at UMG Philadelphia, at the age of just 14. Competing under the organisation Bati, alongside ZooMaa, VeXeD and NoXiDe, they finished top twelve.

The last three events of the year saw TJHaLy join Stunner Gaming, finishing top eight at the Season 3 Play-In and top twelve at the final two UMG events of the season.

Advanced Warfare

TJHaLy remained on Stunner Gaming with PRPLXD, VeXeD and ColeChan for the first event - a disappointing top sixteen at MLG Columbus.

Huke was brought in for ColeChan, where they finished second at UMG Orlando.

In the next four events TJHaLy joined three different organisations including Aware Gaming, Elevate and Rise Nation; winning $14,000.

TJHaLy joined Elevate for the next four events, stringing together his most successful period of Call of Duty to date.

The team of Classic, Slacked, TJHaLy and Saints won MES Detroit 25K, as well as finishing within the top four for the next three events. TJHaLy won $75,000 from these events.

Black Ops 3 & Infinite Warfare

Unfortunately, due to age restrictions, TJHaLy was unable to compete at major events. He opted to take a 2-year hiatus from offline play, competing in a few online tournaments during this time.

WWII

It was the WWII season that TJHaLy became eligible to participate in the Call of Duty World League. He was picked up by Rise Nation and joined by Loony, Aqua and FeLo.

Their first event was a flop, placing top sixteen at Dallas. Aqua and Felo were soon replaced by Methodz and Gunless, which saw a period of dominance from the squad.

The team won CWL Atlanta and won Division A in the Stage 1 Pro League. The team went on to place third at Birmingham before it all went wrong at the Stage 1 Playoffs; they finished top eight.

Methodz was replaced by SlasheR and the team won back-to-back titles at Seattle and Anaheim.

Despite a poor performance in the Stage 2 Pro League, the team placed second at the playoffs.

The season ended as it started, with a top sixteen placement; only this time it was at COD Champs 2018.

Black Ops 4

TJHaLy was recognised as a top talent, so it was only natural that OpTic Gaming came along to snap him up.

Along with Dashy, they replaced Octane and Methodz; Karma was also reinstated to the lineup after being dropped in WWII.

The first place at Las Vegas looked like the jump start OpTic needed to get back to winning ways. However, they were quickly brought back down to earth as the team lacked practice and became overconfident - finishing top 12 at Fort Worth.

The Pro League season failed to see the full extent of what OpTic were capable of, due to visa issues, having to rely on ZooMaa to fill in for him.

It was third place for the Greenwall at both London and Anaheim and they finished up the regular season top of their pro league group.

Top 8 was all that they could manage at the Pro League playoffs, but it didn't hinder their spirits as they looked unstoppable at COD Champs 2019. Unfortunately, two quickfire losses to eUnited and 100 Thieves in the final stages of the competition left them with a third-place finish once again.
