Introduction
Welcome to CWL London. This pack is designed to give you all the information you need to attend CWL London as a spectator, taking place on 3rd – 5th May 2019, the third Global Open event in the 2019 Call of Duty World League season, presented by PlayStation®4.
On behalf of the Call of Duty World League and their partners, Gfinity looks forward to welcoming you to the event in London, where we hope you will have a fun and exciting weekend witnessing or taking part in some powerful competition.

Event Location
CWL London will be held at the Copper Box Arena, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London, E20 3HB from Friday 3rd – Sunday 5th May.

Getting There
By Air
If you are travelling to London from abroad and plan to fly, please see below the best routes from each London airport to Stratford. Walking instructions from Stratford, Stratford International and Hackney Wick will be outlined in the at the end of this section.
London Heathrow
Take the Heathrow Express (Terminals 2 & 3 only) to Paddington. Change here and catch theCircle Line Westbound to Notting Hill Gate. Change here and catch the Central Line Eastbound to Stratford. This journey takes roughly 60 minutes, subject to time of travel and train schedules.
OR
Take the Piccadilly Line Eastbound to King’s Cross St Pancras. Change here and catch the next train to Stratford International. This journey takes roughly 75 minutes, subject to time of travel and train schedules.
OR
Take the Piccadilly Line Eastbound to Green Park. Change here and catch the Jubilee Line Southbound to Stratford. This journey takes roughly 75 minutes, subject to time of travel and train schedules.
London Gatwick
Catch the train from South Terminal to London Bridge. Change here and take the Jubilee Line Eastbound to Stratford. This journey takes roughly 55 minutes, subject to time of travel and train schedules.
Luton
Take the Luton Airport Bus two stops to Luton Airport Parkway Rail. Catch the train from here 1 stop to St Pancras International. Change here and catch the train 1 stop to Stratford International. This journey takes roughly 65 minutes, subject to time of travel and train schedules.
Stansted
Catch the train for Stansted Airport to Liverpool Street. Change here and take the Central Line Eastbound to Stratford. This journey takes roughly 60 minutes, subject to time of travel and train schedules.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE VENUE WILL NOT ALLOW BAGS LARGER THAN 40CM H X 35CM L X 20CM W ONTO THE PREMISES, SO PLEASE ENSURE YOU DROP YOUR BAGS AT YOUR HOTEL OR PLACE OF STAY BEFORE YOU ARRIVE AT THE VENUE.
By Train
Please see below the best routes to take to Stratford from key train stations in London.
Waterloo
If you are traveling to the event from Waterloo, the quickest route is to catch the Jubilee Line Eastbound 9 stops to Stratford. This journey takes roughly 20 minutes.
St Pancras International
Take the train from here to Stratford International. This journey takes 6 minutes.
Paddington
Catch the Circle Line Westbound to Notting Hill Gate. Change here and catch the Central Line Eastbound to Stratford. This journey takes roughly 30 minutes.
Euston
Take the Northern Line Southbound to Kings Cross St Pancras. Change here and catch the train to Stratford International.

By Car
If you wish to travel to the event by car, please note there is no onsite parking at the venue. Please see details below for the nearest carparks:

By Foot
To get to the venue by public transport, you will be required to walk from one of the following stations:
Stratford
Exit the station and turn left. Walk up the stairs towards Westfield Shopping Centre. Walk past M&S on your left and Aspers Casino on your right. Take the first left and then turn right when you reach the road. Walk along Westfield Ave until you reach the roundabout, then continue straight along Waterden Road until you reach the Copper Box on your left-hand side.

Stratford International
Exit Stratford International onto Roundhouse Lane/International Way. At the end of this road, turn right onto Westfield Ave. Continue along this road until you reach the roundabout. Continue straight joining onto Waterden Road and walk until you see the Copper Box on your left-hand side.

Hackney Wick
Exit the station and turn right onto Wallis Road. Take the first right continuing on Wallis Road and continue straight until you cross the bridge. Keep walking until you reach the Copper Box Arena on your right-hand side.

Please note that West Ham, who are located next to this venue, are playing at home on Saturday 4th May at 15:00, so transport routes into the area will be busy around this time. The first weekend of May is also a bank holiday weekend, so surrounding areas and travel routes are likely to be slightly busier than usual.
Please ensure you check your route in advance of traveling to the venue, and ensure you are comfortable with the timings and directions.
As previously mentioned, it is worth noting that the venue will not allow bags larger than 40cm x 35cm x 20cm onto the premises, so please ensure you drop your bags at your hotel or place of stay before you arrive at the venue.

Please see below a birds-eye view of the venue.
All spectators must enter the venue through Entrance B as marked on the map. If you are traveling from Stratford, this will be on your left-hand side as you approach the venue and will be clearly sign-posted. If you are traveling on foot from Hackney Wick, you will approach the venue from the back of the building. Please walk around to the front until you reach Entrance B.
Security Procedures
To ensure the safety and well-being of all guests and participants, there will be strict security procedures in place for this event.
Entry
Upon entry all guests will be required to go through a bag and body search before being allowed access into the venue. Once your tickets have been scanned and your search has been completed, you will receive your weekend spectator wristband which will act as your access accreditation for the rest of the weekend. Please ensure you do not lose this. Bag searches will be conducted every time you re-enter the venue, so please bear this in mind when deciding on what to bring to the event. Forbidden items include but are not limited to:
- Illegal or illicit substances, drugs, or drug paraphernalia
- Weapons of any kind including, but not limited to, guns, ammo, pocket knives, sharp-edged blades, self-defence sprays, or any item deemed as unsafe by security staff
- Flammable items or liquids including aerosols and fireworks
- Bags exceeding 40cm x 35cm x 20cm
- External food or drink, including alcohol
- Drones or unmanned aerial vehicles
- Animals except for service animals assisting an individual with a disability.
- Laser pens, laser pointers, or similar focused light devices
- Noisemakers such as megaphones, air horns, sirens, whistles, or other devices which may interfere with others’ experience
- Any item that is not lawfully permitted to be carried in the locality of the venue
- Additional items may be prohibited at the discretion of security.

Please note that this event is strictly 18+ and you may be required to show your ID upon entry. Please ensure you bring a valid form of ID with you to the venue.
Bag Policy
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT BAGS EXCEEDING A SIZE OF 40CM H X 35CM L X 20CM W WILL NOT BE PERMITTED INTO THE VENUE. IF YOU ARRIVE WITH A BAG BIGGER THAN THIS, YOU WILL NOT GAIN ACCESS TO THE EVENT. THIS IS TO ENSURE THE SAFETY AND WELL BEING OF ALL GUESTS AND PARTICIPANTS.
General Behaviour
Whilst at the event, please be mindful of your behaviour towards others. There will be zero tolerance for aggressive, violent or unlawful behaviour, and anyone witnessed to be behaving inappropriately will be escorted off the premises by a member of security. If you witness any suspicious or unsuitable behaviour, please report it to a member of staff or security.

There will be various food concessions open throughout the venue. From here you can purchase food and drinks, including alcohol. If you wish to leave the venue to buy food and drink, please see next section for information on eateries in the area. However, please note that no food or drink purchased externally is permitted into the venue.
Empty bottles are allowed to be brought into the venue to be filled up.

The Copper Box Arena is within close proximity to various bars, restaurants, cafes and shops. Please see a map below of Westfield Shopping Centre complex which is just a 10-15-minute walk from the venue.

Also marked on the map with a red arrow, is The Breakfast Club restaurant/café, which is only a 5-minute walk from the venue, and can offer everyone with an event wristband 15% off any item on the menu (not to be used in conjunction with another offer, i.e. Happy Hour).
Health & Safety
A Health and Safety inspection has been undertaken ahead of this event to ensure the adherence of all legal H&S rules and regulations. There will be first aid facilities and paramedics on site, who will report to any accidents or emergencies. If you witness, or are a part of an incident requiring medical attention, please inform a member of staff or security as soon as possible.
