Joshh and Epsilon Part Ways

And then there was one.

It was announced today through the Epsilon eSports website that the organisation's Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare team captain, Joshua "Joshh" Sheppard, was set to be leaving the team on what was noted as a mutually consentual basis. Joshh has been a part of Epsilon's Call of Duty team for over a year now, more recently coming off the back of disappointing finishes at the Call of Duty Championships and last weekend's eSports World Cup.

Joshh had this to say about the departure on Epsilon's website.

“It saddens me to announce that I’m no longer apart of Epsilon, the organisation has been a big part of my life and its going to be weird going to events and not repping the same brand I’ve represented for over a year now. I wish Epsilon the best of luck with whatever they do next and a huge thank you to all the staff.”

We recently reported on rumours surrounding his teammate, Dylan "MadCat" Daly and his apparent imminent move to the United States to represent TCM Gaming in the MLG Call of Duty League. If that shift comes to pass, Epsilon will only have one remaining Call of Duty player representing them in Callum "Swanny" Swan.

Could these rapid movements surrounding Europe's most prominent Advanced Warfare lineup have something to do with the team Tom "Tommey" Trewren is building for Team Vitality? Does this mean that Epsilon currently have other plans in the works for their future Call of Duty lineup, if any? Either way, it'll be intruiging to see how all these movements play out.

The best Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare teams from around the world are set to compete at the Gfinity Spring Masters I, May 8-10th. You can grab tickets to spectate the entire thing live, or read up on additional information here.
