Isle of Armor

From what we know about the Isle of Armor, the setting is based in a beachy area just off the coastline of the Galar Region.

Similar to the Aloha region from Pokemon Sun and Moon, it would make sense if Nintendo implemented some Pokemon from this generation during the first DLC pack.

Sticking to the beach theme, the most logical Pokemon typings to include here are water, flying, and ground.

Here are our picks for Pokemon that should return during the Isle of Armor!

Tentacool and Tentacruel

Although they are some of the most annoying Pokemon to encounter while playing, it would make sense to include them along the beach.

Tailow and Swellow

The standard flying type Pokemon from generation three would be an excellent choice to see flying over the coastline.

Carvanha and Sharpedo

The water-dark type Pokemon again from generation three, are stand out choices to include in this DLC pack.

Spheal, Sealeo, and Walrein

Depending on the weather conditions that the Isle of Armor has, the Spheal evolution would be great to see!

Ducklett and Swanna

A perfect combination of water and flying type would fit right in with the beach environment.

The Crown Tundra

Opposed to the fresh, warm environment that the Isle of Armor is set in; The Crown Tundra has a much darker and gloomy feel to it already.

Set atop an icy mountain, players will be traversing their way through caves and other terrains in order to find the legendary Pokemon.

So, the best typings to include for this region are, of course, ice types and dark types. Let's go over some we think should be included!

Crabominable

The ice-fighting type would be a good option to find roaming one of the caves and fits the snowy mountain theme.

Cubone and Marowak

One of the original 151 Pokemon would fit nicely in one of the many caverns Crown Tundra will have.

Aron, Lairon, and Aggron

The steel-rock type Pokemon are some of the most unique from generation three.

Jynx

Although Galarian Jynx is in the main game, it would be interesting to see both of them in Sword and Shield.

Suicune

This is a long shot, but perhaps Suicune will play some role in the lore of Crown Tundra.
