It has always been interesting to see game developers try and recreate places around the world within their video games.
We have seen some glorious recreations, most notably from the Assassin's Creed franchise; with their recent release in Odyssey.
However, the Call of Duty series is no slouch when it comes to this, and one fan has managed to find a Warzone location in real life!
Chernobyl
Reddit user u/lukegiant recently returned home Chernobyl and happened to stumble across a deserted indoor swimming pool, thinking it was nothing they decided to snap some pictures anyways.
Well to their surprise after jumping into a game of Warzone they noticed the striking similarities between the swimming pool in Warzone and the one they just visited.
For those who do not know, the pool in question is the iconic one from the Call of Duty 4 campaign.
All Ghillied Up is remembered as one of the best single-player missions of all time, and Call of Duty fans noticed this pool as soon as Warzone released.
The side by side pictures can be viewed down below, but we must say they are identical!
If you take the weapon out of the Warzone image it may be hard to tell which is which!

Cool right? We can assume this was not done on accident, as many fans have claimed that the entire Warzone map is based on an iteration of the Chernobyl city.
We have our eyes on Assassin's Creed Valhalla which will undoubtedly have some amazing landmarks and locations created scale to scale from real life!
