It's been a little under two years since the release of Mortal Kombat 11 which came to PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC back in April 2019. But months on, the appetite for NetherRealm's hugely successful fighting game is still high.
Further DLC in the form of smaller Kombat Packs, and the more sizeable Mortal Kombat 11 Aftermath and Ultimate expansions have only increased positivity surrounding the game. So naturally, MK11 fans are hungry for more DLC content.
With that in mind, here's everything we know so far about the games - as yet unannounced - but highly likely, third Kombat Pack.

NetherRealm has confirmed there will be no more Mortal Kombat 11 DLC, as the studio is working on its newest project.
The rather abrupt message was posted on the games official social channels and simply read:
"NetherRealm is now focusing on its next project and after more than two years of supporting Mortal Kombat 11, DLC for the game, including characters, has come to an end."
Some insiders say we could be getting Injustice 3, nearly four years after Injustice 2 released. These rumors say Injustice 3 is still early in development, which could fit with NetherRealm's Twitter statement.
Mortal Kombat 11 - Kombat Pack 3 Release Date
At the time of writing, with nothing outright announced by NetherRealm, it's impossible to put any markers down for when the new updates could release.
If we were going out on a limb, we'd wager anything new might be due to release in and around the movie.
We say this simply because we would imagine that Warner Brothers would want to take advantage of fans and wider movie lovers to tie into the hype surrounding the film.
As per EpicStream, the new Mortal Kombat movie has a release date set for April 16, 2021. Incidentally, this would also line up nicely with the games two year anniversary, since it launched on 23 April 2019.
So we'd like to think that any new content would be launched around the same time.
Of course, take this with a dash of salt until anything further is announced.
Mortal Kombat 11 - Kombat Pack 3 Leaks & Rumours
Due to the sheer volume of leaks and rumours we'll likely see or hear we'll try to keep this section up to date with dated updates.

The content drought for Mortal Kombat 11 is ongoing and based on the recent thoughts of one well-known dataminer, who we trust a lot, this could be it for the game.
The statement comes from @TheThiny, a popular Mortal Kombat modder who told fans on Twitter:
"The reason why I believe MK11 is done is because the silence has been longer than any prior silence we got. No content updates, no KL, small patches every month. Previously we had more but now I think they've shifted to something else."
This was followed up with another message that went deeper, adding:
"If by April (MK 2-year anniversary) we don't receive any updates or any clues, then I will be confident in moving on from MK11."
The clock sure is ticking, but whether NetherRealm has anything brewing remains to be seen.

The below reddit post was featured on r/GamingLeaksAndRumours
"I received from a source what appears to be screenshots of an internal email chain from NRS. This came from a source who previously leaked details of both Aftermath and Pack 2. The email appears to confirm 4 characters as well as a new arena, a new tower and more movie skins, specifically Smoke, Sareena, Havik, Deathstroke, The Living Forest, an Annihilation Sindel skin and a Test Your Might tower."
In response, the mods for the sub-reddit replied "OP has sent via modmail the screenshots of these emails. While we cannot confirm authenticity, I can confirm I've seen them. I cannot comment much as I have no knowledge on the subject."

A new 'screenshot' appears to show Kombat Pack 3 listed on the PlayStation Store as a pre-order page.
According to the listing, the Kombat Pack will cost $25, which is more or less in-line with the games previous Kombat Pack prices.
It is still unverified and cannot be found in the store at the time of writing.
