Mortal Kombat remains a popular fighter and recently, they've been crossing over with movie icons to fill out the roster. Having seen guest characters such as Robocop, The Terminator and Rambo, Keanu Reeves has now been asked if he'd approve of his iconic characters joining them.
However, he isn't too thrilled at this prospect. Speaking to Esquire, Reeves was asked if he'd put any of his roles in Mortal Kombat. Reeves declined the offer and had no interest in putting any of his characters in the game.

Keanu Reeves Doesn't Want Neo or John Wick Joining Mortal Kombat
Elaborating further, Reeves told Esquire:
If it was up to me? No. Mortal Kombat is awesome in so many ways. But I think, you know, Neo… John Wick… yeah man, they’re doing their own thing. Mortal Kombat’s doing their own thing.
Previously, director Ed Boon confirmed in an interview that he wanted to put in Neo and John Wick in Mortal Kombat 11, but this never happened. Additionally, Ed Boon sought to include Neo in Injustice 2.
Throughout his career, Keanu Reeves has played numerous action stars. His famous roles are Neo from The Matrix, the titular assassin John Wick, DC's John Constantine in 2005 and his work for Cyberpunk 2077 as Johnny Silverhand. However, considering Mortal Kombat's known for its violent content, you can see why he's not a fan of the idea.
