Nintendo’s latest installment to the Zelda franchise is now accessible to many fans a day before its official release.

However, like Palword allegedly used its patented mechanics, Nintendo would not approve of this. The Legend of Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom ROM is now in the wild and accessible to the public through ROM sites.

A few days before the leak, a YouTuber named Nintendo Prime posted on X that the game had been officially leaked and encouraged fans to block keywords relating to the game to avoid spoilers. Fans who want a spoiler-free experience a day before the launch should try to avoid the internet temporarily.

Nintendo is not a newbie when it comes to having its work emulated on different systems, and the company is hard at work to prevent these instances by filing cease-and-desist orders and lawsuits against developers they deem to be crossing the lines. Pocketpair is currently in hot water about a patented mechanic they used in the popular game Palword, which, despite its popularity, has received criticisms for being too similar to Pokemon.

The Legend Of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is one of the few games that showcases the titular princess as the game’s playable character. Zelda must save Hyrule without the king and Link and use whatever resources are available to rescue the kingdom and everyone in it.

The game features new gameplay mechanics such as Echoes, which allows Zelda to create a replica of anything useful for her adventure. From furniture to enemies, Zelda can create Echoes of these things thanks to the Trirod. A new fairy companion named Tri will be with Zelda and assist her throughout their journey.

The Legend Of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom becomes officially available on every Nintendo Switch console on September 26, 2024. Regardless of whether you will be checking the leaks or waiting for the official release, stay updated with everything Zelda by following Gfinity Esports.
