Breakdown

  • These two Warzone players showed plenty of respect to each other by sharing self revives
  • Camaraderie like this is almost never seen in these multiplayer shooters
  • Plenty of unique things keep happening in Warzone

You shouldn’t expect any mercy when playing Warzone these days, but two players recently did that to the shock and awe of many. In a rare move that no one thought we would ever see in this game, one player dropped a self-revive for another player and that same player returned the favor.

Shared on the game’s subreddit by TheDarkZEK, it shows a really wholesome moment of two players who decided to honor each other’s sacrifice. Like we mentioned earlier, one player decided to give their self-revive to a dying opponent and the same opponent returned the favor later.

It’s rare to see such honor and camaraderie in a game like Warzone, but fans on the game’s subreddit really witnessed something beautiful. We don’t expect too many players to do that again in the long run, but this is a moment that should be shared for years to come.

Don’t expect gamers to start doing this regularly, as the regular gameplay loop demands ruthless aggression when it comes to success. But if this can convince people to be a bit nicer to each other in real life, this would be a major success. As it stands, this seems like a rare bit of humanity we won’t be seeing in this game again and that’s just fine.

Warzone continues to be a fairly popular multiplayer shooter, with millions of players continuing to blast their friends in this free-to-play battle royale. This rare bit of human beings helping each other out aside, most players will concentrate on shooting each other with the game’s best weapons.

Even though this game has been out for a few years now, there are still fairly exciting events happening whenever sessions happen. One player was able to score a nuke in record time, which has to be one of the best moments in this shooter.

Call of Duty: Warzone 2 is available now on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC.
