If you are looking for a character that can heal and cleanse debuffs, our Honkai Star Rail Lynx build will help you do just that. Lynx is the game's second healer after Natasha, so she is a must-pull unit if you do not have a second healer on your account for the Memory of Chaos stages.
We do not have a lot of options when it comes to healers right now and so free-to-play players are essentially limited to Natasha as the only 4-star option. But, Lynx is not only a solid healer, she can also cleanse debuffs which is very important when going up against tougher foes.
Our Honkai Star Rail Lynx build guide will allow you to use her in essentially any team. But if you are planning to build a mono-Quantum team, then you should check out our Honkai Star Rail Seele build and Silver Wolf build to get the right gear.
Best light cones for Lynx build in Honkai Star Rail
Post-Op Conversation is one of the best options for Lynx, as it boosts her outgoing healing as well as her energy regeneration. But if you do not have access to it, then you can use Light Waits for No One, Warm Nights Won't Last, or Cornucopia.
- Post-Op Conversation: Increases Energy Restoration of its wearer by 12%. Increases Outgoing Healing of Ultimate by 20%.
- Light Waits for No One: Increases the wearer's Max HP by 12.0% and Outgoing Healing by 12.0%. When the wearer heals allies, record the amount of Outgoing Healing. When any ally launches an attack, a randomly attacked enemy takes an additional DMG equal to 50.0% of the recorded Outgoing Healing value. This additional DMG is of the same Type as the wearer's, is not affected by other buffs, and can only occur one time per turn.
- Warm Nights Won’t Last: Increases the wearer's Max HP by 20%. When using Basic ATK or Skill, restores all allies' HP by an amount equal to 2% of their respective Max HP.
- Cornucopia: Increases Outgoing Healing of its wearer by 16%
Best relics for Lynx build in Honkai Star Rail
There is only one relic set that benefits a Lynx build, and that is the Passerby of Wandering Cloud. You get a decent amount of Outgoing Healing and the 4-piece bonus gives you a nice Skill Point bonus.
Passerby of Wandering Cloud
- 2-Piece Bonus: Increases Outgoing Healing by 10%.
- 4-Piece Bonus: At the beginning of the battle, immediately recover one Skill Point.
Fleet of the Ageless (Planar Ornament)
- 2-Piece Bonus: Increases the wearer's Max HP by 12%. When the wearer's SPD reaches 120 or higher, all allies' ATK increases by 8%.
The only stats you should be looking for in your relics are HP and energy regeneration. You should not farm for offensive stats, because Lynx's strength lies in her healing capabilities as her damage output is poor. Fleet of the Ageless is the only Planar ornament that you should consider as it boosts HP, and if you manage to get 120 SPD from your substats, you can also boost the ATK of all allies by 8%.
What are Lynx's abilities?
Lynx is currently not available in-game, so her kit information was retrieved from the patch 1.3 beta. We excluded the multipliers in this Honkai Star Rail Lynx build, as they are subject to change and are not finalised. Initial impressions based on leaks are positive, and her ability to restore energy and cleanse allies makes her a solid self-sustaining character worth pulling for, especially if you do not have Bailu or Luocha.
Ability | Details |
---|---|
Basic Attack | Ice Axe Climbing Technique: Deals Quantum DMG equal to a percentage of Lynx’s Max HP to a single target. |
Skill: Salted Camping Can | This skill removes one negative effect from a designated ally and restores their health by an amount equal to a percentage of Lynx's Max HP, plus a fixed amount. |
Ultimate: Snowfield Emergency Plan | This ultimate skill removes one negative effect from all allies and immediately restores their health by an amount equal to a percentage of Lynx's Max HP, plus a fixed amount. It also restores the same amount of health to all allies at the start of each turn for one turn. |
Talent: Outdoor Survival Experience | This talent allows Lynx to restore energy when removing a negative effect from an ally. |
Technique: Chocolate Energy Bar | This technique immediately restores the health of all allies by an amount equal to a percentage of Lynx's Max HP. |
What are Lynx's Eidolons?
Eidolon Level | Description |
---|---|
E1 – Trekking with Ski Poles during Dawn | When healing an ally with her Talent, increase healing amount, this effect will also take effect on healing over time effect. |
E2 – Noontide’s Portable Stove | Extend the healing over time effect from Talent by one turn. |
E3 – Afternoon’s Avalanche Beacon | Skill Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15. Basic ATK Lv. +1, up to a maximum of Lv.10. |
E4 – Bonfire Camping at Dusk | When an ally with Excitement is hit, increase their attack based on a percentage of Lynx's Max HP, which lasts for one turn. |
E5 – Aurora Red Tea at Evening | Ultimate Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15. Talent Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15. |
E6 – Cartography at Twilight | The ally with Excitement will receive an increase in Max HP equal to a percentage of Lynx's Max HP, and increase their Effect RES. |
Lynx is a solid unit even at E0, so you do not need to pull for additional Eidolons. Unless you are actively going for the 5-star unit on the same banner as her, you should stop at just one copy of the character and naturally secure additional Eidolons when pulling for future characters.
