eFootball's not had the smoothest launch so far. Released back in September, Konami's rebranded version of Pro Evolution Soccer was widely criticised for a lack of content and numerous glitches, though they've since released wide-ranging bug fixes.
Following Update 0.9.1's launch in early November, Konami confirmed their first major update is due to follow. If you're looking to find out more, here's everything you need to know.

New Features
Version 1.0.0 will bring eFootball to mobile platforms, introducing several significant features alongside it.
That includes Creative Teams, where players can build their own squad, and cross-platform multiplayer for the Steam, Xbox and PlayStation editions. Furthermore, a Season Pass system is also being implemented.
Release Date
Previously expected to arrive this year, Konami's recently delayed Version 1.0.0 until Spring 2022. They've yet to reveal a more specific release date but given this is several months away, that's not entirely surprising. Hopefully we'll learn more soon.
