On June 8, Galarian Slowpoke and Galarian Slowbro will debut in Pokemon GO. Like many of the recent Pokemon GO debuts, there is a small task attached to evolving the Pokemon.
Luckily, the task to evolve Galarian Slowpoke into Galarian Slowbro isn't too excessive. First, Pokemon GO players need to make the Galarian Slowpoke they wish to evolve their buddy. This step is important to pay attention to because the progress will only count on one Galarian Slowpoke.
With Galarian Slowpoke as their buddy, it's time to begin catching Poison-type Pokemon. In total, players will need to catch 30 Poison-type Pokemon before evolution is allowed. Then the only obstacle is getting enough candy. Galarian Slowbro will require 50 Slowpoke candy for an evolution after the task is complete.
How to catch Galarian Slowpoke and Galarian Slowbro in Pokemon GO
Galarian Slowpoke and Galarian Slowbro will debut in Pokemon GO during the 'A Very Slow Discovery' event. In the event, players will be able to get their hands on a Galarian Slowpoke.
Players can expect the event to start on June 8 at 10 am local time and end on June 13 at 8 pm local time. In that event, players will encounter the Galarian forms of Slowpoke, the normal form of Slowpoke, and Mega Slowbro will debut in Mega raids within Pokemon GO.
Galarian Slowpoke itself will be available in one-star raids throughout the event. It doesn't seem like getting a Galarian Slowpoke will be possible in the wild, and tasks also weren't detailed by Niantic. For now, players will want to stay on the lookout for their own Galarian Slowpoke in a raid.
