Pokemon Go is in a bit of tricky spot right now, with the outdoor-focused mobile RPG harder to play than ever thanks to the increasing likelihood of mass lockdowns in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Developer Niantic has done what they can to make the game easier to play, but the recent addition of the Pokemon Go Battle League (which is due to kick off its first season in the near future) is likely to be a sure-fire way to keep playing regardless of what's going on in the world and offers its own set of rewards.

Pokemon Go Battle League Rewards: Confirmed Season One Rewards
In an extensive interview with ShackNews, Lead Product Manager Matt Slemon said:
"In addition to the ongoing competition and the ability for Trainers to move up in the ranks, Trainers will have the opportunity to encounter Legendary Pokémon including Darkrai, Altered Forme Giratina, and Thundurus. There will also be a chance to win avatar items and a pose."
Those are some lofty rewards, but that's not all. The Pokemon Go Twitter account also confirmed that players that reach rank 10 will receive a chance to catch Pikachu Libre.
