Dates, Format, and Tickets
DreamHack Montreal starts with the group stage on day one where teams are pooled into four groups of eight. The format is the same as the rest of the Pro Circuit events where teams progress through a double-elimination bracket. Day two will see the top 16 teams face off in a brand new bracket that decides the final eight teams who make the playoffs. The playoffs are a single-elimination bracket featuring the remaining eight teams with the quarterfinals being b05s and the semis/grand finals being b07s.
The venue for Dreamhack Montreal is the Olympic Stadium of Montreal, Canada, but the open signup for teams has passed. Tickets are available for the Bring Your Own Computer (BYOC) events that DreamHack runs, and in festival or single day varieties.
Prize Pool
The prize pool is $100,000 and pays out the top eight places. The prize breakdown is as follows:
1st: $50,000
2nd: $20,000
3rd - 4th: $10,000
