Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's roster is ever growing and according to a very confident leaker, Crash Bandicoot will be the next character available.
Named MandyCan, the anonymous and fairly new leaker first tweeted back in October 2019 saying Crash Bandicoot will be the next fighter made available after the first Fighters Pass has concluded.
Now why are we holding any regard for this statement. Well MandyCan tweeted it out AFTER correctly mentioning Byleth from Fire Emblem: Three Houses would make the final cut of the first DLC season before it was announced. Byleth will be released on January 28th for those who want to know.
With that being said, I wouldn't say sweep that pinch of salt away just yet but MandyCan has so far delivered the goods.
Personally, I would love to see Crash Bandicoot involved. It would make an incredible fit and we know Nintendo aren't against involving the right characters from other properties unrelated to Nintendo such as Banjo Kazooie.
We'll be sure to hear more towards the end of the month after Byleth's release.
