We've broken down all the ways you can connect a soundbar to your PC, so you can add the likes of the epic Razer Leviathon, and more to your setup with ease.
Let's get to it.
How To Connect a Soundbar to a PC
You can connect soundbars to PCs either wirelessly or via a wired connection.
Let's look at the wireless options first.
How To Wirelessly Connect a Soundbar to a PC
Step 1. Check that both your soundbar and PC has Bluetooth.
While this is more common with pre-built devices, if you've built a PC yourself you may need to double-check.
In this case, you're not necessarily connecting a gaming monitor, but instead to the device itself.
Step 2. Open up your Bluetooth settings and search for your soundbar. Ensure both devices are discoverable.
Step 3: Pair with your soundbar and listen out for any alerts/ sounds it could make to confirm pairing.
How To Connect a Soundbar to a PC (Wired)
There are multiple wired connection options you can go for, including USB, HDMI, AUX out, or Optical.
Step 1: Identify your connector. Below you'll find USB, HDMI, AUX out, or Optical connectors.
You will likely find that some premium PCs will have the rarer Optical connection, with the majority having HDMI, USB, or 3.5mm AUX out.
We think the easiest is 3.5mm AUX out, but the others are also more than fine.
Step 2: Find the corresponding socket on your PC, the location should be marked. Remember, that not all PCs will have an Optical connection port.
Step 3: Go to your system settings and check that the audio is set to the soundbar, and you're good to go!
