The Xiaomi 12 looks like it could be one of the best phones to date and while the new model was released in China back in December, it has now finally launched globally.
Much like the Samsung Galaxy S22 and the upcoming iPhone 14, the 12 series is Xiaomi's flagship phone for 2022 and it looks like it packs a serious punch.

When Will The Xiaomi 12 Release Globally?
The Xiaomi 12 was announced on 28 December 2021 and released a few days later in China, on 31 December, and was launched globally on 15 March.
However, despite the global launch, there is currently no confirmed date for when you'll be able to buy the new phone.
Reportedly, it is likely that the Xiaomi 12 will arrive in April, although it is possible that the release date will vary from region to region.

Xiaomi 12 Price
Xiaomi announced the global pricing at their launch event on 15 March.
The Xiaomi 12 has a starting price of $749 while the 12 Pro model will start at $999.
It is worth noting that the new phone likely won't go on sale in the US, and so these prices are to be used as a 'guideline' with official pricing potentially varying from region to region.
Xiaomi 12 Specs
While the official release date and global pricing have not yet been announced, we do know the specs of Xiaomi's upcoming flagship phone.
For the screen, the Xiaomi 12 features a 6.28-inch OLED display, with a 1080 x 2400p resolution and a huge 1,100 nits of peak brightness.
The 12 Pro model features a larger 6.73-inch AMOLED screen with a 1440 x 3200p resolution and 1,000 nits of peak brightness.
This means that both models should look seriously sharp, offer high levels of contrast and be clearly visible even in well-lit environments.
The screens also feature a rapid 120Hz refresh rate which should enable you to experience fast and smooth gaming.

In terms of power, you're getting a Qualcomm SM8450 Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset and up to 12GB of RAM, which should mean this phone is incredibly fast.
When it comes to the main camera, the Xiaomi 12 features a 50MP wide, 13MP ultrawide and 5MP telephoto macro lens.
And the Xiaomi 12 Pro features a 50MP wide, 50MP ultrawide and 50MP telephoto lens.
This should allow you to take high definition photos and you can even film in up to 8K at 24fps, 4K at 30fps and 1080p up to a staggering 960fps on both models.
Both models also include a 32MP selfie camera, which should enable you to experience high-quality video calls.
The Xiaomi 12 also boasts 67W fast charging which claims to reach 100% battery in a mere 39 minutes of charging.
While the Xiaomi 12 Pro features a whopping 120W fast charging, allowing you to reach 100% battery in just 18 minutes.
