A new mod has transformed the Tekken 7 cast into Elden Ring characters and it's gained significant attention. Noticed by Tekken head honcho Katsuhiro Harada, the director was very impressed by modder Ultraboy's work, asking him "plz stop" because it was too good.
On Twitter, Harada admitted that the Tekken 7 mod adding in Elden Ring characters/cosmetics was well made, but worried that certain fans would think it was official. Some fans thought Harada was being dismissive of this mod, until the Tekken boss went into further detail.
Tekken 7 Director Awed By Elden Ring-Themed Mod, Asks Players To “Please Stop It”
While we doubt that this will lead to official Elden Ring costumes in Tekken 7, it's an impressive sign of what could be. It’s worth noting that Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown plans to Tekken costumes as DLC in the future, so anything is possible.
Both Elden Ring and Tekken 7 were published by Bandai Namco and are available now. Naturally, only PC fans can test out this specific mod but we'll keep you informed with further Elden Ring news as it happens.
