The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom puts Link in the backseat and lets Zelda lead the journey around Hyrule this time. With stunningly amazing visuals and wonderful gameplay perfect for the Switch, Echoes of Wisdom is another great Zelda game that lets its fans enjoy and have fun in their own ways.

Nintendo did a great job turning a perfectly normal copy-and-paste mechanic into something fun in Echoes of Wisdom. Zelda's Tri Rod allows her to summon Echoes to aid her in her journey. These Echoes are all over the plague-ridden Hyrule Kingdom and can be learned as soon as Zelda can access them.

While Zelda can utilize a wide variety of Echoes, it is hard to keep track of them, and sometimes it's best to stick to some of the most commonly used and useful ones around the kingdom.

Here's our guide to the top 10 most useful Echoes in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom.

Crawltula

The Crawltula is an Echo that can be obtained fairly early in the game. Found in the Suthorn Forest region, the Crawltula only costs 3 Energy to summon. This Echo allows Zelda to climb over high walls with ease using the Reverse Bond ability.

With its cheap Energy cost and early access, the Crawltula is one of the game's best traversal Echoes.

Bombfish

The Bomb is Link's staple Tool in most of The Legend of Zelda games. While the familiar Bomb is exclusive to Zelda's Swordfighter Form while manifesting Link's abilities, Zelda can also get a Bomb for herself in the form of the Bombfish.

Obtainable in the Jabul Water region, the Bombfish explodes on impact and can clear debris for dungeon progression. While it needs 4 Energy to summon, the Bombfish is versatile enough to become a regular Echo for your adventures.

Moblin

Moblins are one of the most common enemies in the Zelda series, with several variants appearing in Echoes of Wisdom. Depending on the variant and Echo level, Moblins are the best Echoes to use when stuck in a fight.

Moblins are pretty cheap in terms of Energy costs. Ranging from 2 Energy to a maximum of 5, Moblins are versatile and can be used in almost any combat situation.

ReDead

ReDead enemies make a comeback in Echoes of Wisdom, along with their unique ability. They can stun enemies and stop them from their tracks, making the ReDead Echo perfect for crowd control and escaping dire situations.

Obtainable early in the game by going to the Gerudo Desert, ReDead costs 3 Energy and is one of the best Echoes to keep in mind when traveling to places that are chockful of enemies.

Water Block

An Echo from the Jabul Waters region, the Water Block costs 1 Energy to summon and is relatively straightforward in terms of its use. It summons a water block in which Zelda can swim. Water Blocks can be stacked, and Zelda can swim within that stack to access different areas.

While Water Blocks allow Zelda to traverse uniquely, these Echoes are also excellent for combat. Simply summon one and use Bind to drown enemies around you. It's cheap, easy, and convenient.

Platboom

Platbooms are simple yet perfect if you prefer a quick platform assist. Costing only 3 Energy, the Platboom Echo is found in the Gerudo Desert and is easily obtainable from the beginning of the game.

Simply defeat it and you'll have a nice set of platforms to use for traversing different areas easily.

Strandtula

A distant cousin of the Crawltula, the Strandtula is great for platforming through dungeons that shift the camera into side-scrolling mode. This spider creates a strong thread that lets Zelda easily navigate areas that require her to traverse up and down.

While the Strandtula is cheap, costing only 2 Energy, be wary of using this Echo near fire enemies or in hot levels, as these easily destroy the Strandtula and its web.

Trampoline

One of the first traversal Echoes you'll get in-game, the Trampoline is cheap and easy to utilize. This Echo allows Zelda to jump higher than usual for just 1 Energy.

It's impossible to miss as Zelda encounters this Echo in the Suthorn Village. The Trampoline lets the princess easily reach heights that are considered to be difficult without the Trampoline.

Lynel

The most expensive and powerful enemy Echo in the game, the Lynel Echo, can be obtained in the Eternal Forest and requires 6 Energy. To meet the fearsome enemy, Zelda must follow a set of directions in the Eternal Forest.

The Lynel can instantly bring Zelda's health to a quarter of a heart in one single swipe of its massive sword, so be prepared to upgrade your Swordfighter Form, stock up on potions, and equip damage-reducing equipment to face the monster. Once you've obtained this Echo, your boss fights will be much easier.

Zelda’s Bed

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom includes a neat mechanic that allows Zelda to restore hearts anytime. Summoning a bed Echo and resting on it will restore Zelda's hearts. The most basic bed, the Old Bed Echo, restores half a health at a time. With Zelda's Bed Echo, the princess can restore two hearts when wearing Silk Pajamas and one heart if she's wearing any other outfit.

Obtained after clearing the Hyrule Castle Dungeon rift in the main quest, Zelda's Bed Echo only costs 3 Energy for a quick heart recovery. Bech Echoes can also be used as stairs, adding value to this seemingly simple Echo.

Embarking on the quest to save Hyrule is never easy, so it's best to prepare for your journey by following our The Legend Of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom guides and stay updated with everything gaming by following Gfinity Esports.
