THPS 1 + 2: How To Grind And Do Lip Tricks
Grinding is essential for playing THPS, and it's easy to do.
This allows you to get from one spot to another while maintaining your combo, if you can keep your balance.
Press Triangle on PS4 or Y on Xbox One when you're approaching a horizontal edge to begin a grind.
The grind you do is determined by the direction of the left stick.
Once you're in the grind, use the left stick to ensure you keep you balance.
Losing balance in a grind will cause you to bail, and will cost you your current combo, so it can get pretty tense!
Lip tricks require the same button, but you just need to skate up to a perpendicular surface.
Again, the direction of the left stick will determine which trick you pull off, and again, you'll need to watch your balance!
