Destruction AllStars Developer Reportedly Handling New Twisted Metal Game
As part of this, Twisted Metal's rumoured to be adopting a free-to-play model, perhaps in response to Destruction AllStars' poor reception, launching through PlayStation Plus and receiving a heavy discount. VGC writes:
"Despite the poor reception to AllStars, Lucid has a long pedigree in the racing genre and is trusted to do a good job with Twisted Metal, we were told."
Furthermore, this new game will reportedly released alongside the Twisted Metal television series currently in the works under Sony’s PlayStation Productions movie and TV studio. That'll star The Avengers' Anthony Mackie, written by Deadpool and Zombieland writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick.
